Job description

Janitorial 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Janitorial associate for a company based in Dalton, GA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while supporting daily facility operations.

Pay Rate 
$17.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Janitorial Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sweep, scrub, and maintain warehouse floors, aisles, and high-traffic forklift lanes to ensure a clean and safe work environment. 
  • Clean and wipe down safety railings, guardrails, barriers, dock areas, and other warehouse structures. 
  • Remove debris, dust, and spills from production and storage areas to reduce safety hazards and support OSHA compliance. 
  • Empty trash containers and dispose of cardboard, packaging materials, and other warehouse waste in designated areas. 
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness around forklifts, pallet jacks, loading docks, break areas, and facility entrances while following all safety procedures.

Janitorial Qualifications and Requirements
  • Previous warehouse janitorial, industrial cleaning, or housekeeping experience preferred. 
  • Must have experience operating a floor scrubber and other industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively. 
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment and perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting to 50 pounds. 
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and a high-visibility safety vest always while on the warehouse floor. 
  • Strong attention to safety, reliability, and maintaining a clean work environment around forklift traffic and warehouse operations. 

Job Type 
Full-time, long-term temporary with full benefits after completing one year and 1500 hours of service.
