FORKLIFT DRIVER / SERVICE MATERIAL HANDLER
Location: Statesville, NC
Schedule:
Days: Rotating - 3/2/2/3 shift rotation that does require every other weekend
Hours: 7am - 7pm
Rate of Pay: $11.00 per hour
Job Description:
Stock warehouse floor with materials to run production including pallets, cardboard dividers, plastic bags, etc.
• Remove materials from machine area and organize in warehouse as orders are completed.
• Remove product from warehouse floor and load onto an automated bagging machine. (The ability to operate the automated bagging machine in the event of maintenance issues will be required well)
• Hand bag, staple, and hand shrink bags onto pallets.
• Use GLM (Inventory Tracking System) to remove materials from warehouse.
• Scan product and stage throughout warehouse.
• Punch lead to give machine operators designated breaks as required.
• Complete Daily Forklift Checklist for safety issues.
• Empty trash and cardboard dumpsters
Qualifications
Experience Required:
• Minimum of 1 year as a forklift operator
Requirements:
• Valid Driver's License
• Strong understand of safety procedures is a must as a forklift operator will be driving between machines and around operators, technicians, quality auditors, and others.
• Ability to drive forklift outdoors as required.
