HVAC Estimator


Location: Wentzville, MO / Work areas include locations in both St. Louis county and St. Charles county.


Support HVAC estimating and project coordination.

Elite Heating and Cooling provides residential and commercial HVAC services throughout the Wentzville area and has built its reputation around quality, service, integrity, and excellence. The company's work spans installation, service, maintenance, and broader indoor comfort solutions.


Elite Heating and Cooling is hiring an HVAC Estimator to support an overloaded estimating department and help manage a steady flow of new construction opportunities. This is a technical estimating role with project coordination responsibilities, serving as a go-between with general contractors and superintendents in the field. The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background and wants to grow within HVAC estimating in a hands-on, fast-moving environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare HVAC estimates for new construction projects
  • Support commercial and residential estimating efforts
  • Coordinate with general contractors and field superintendents
  • Review plans, specs, and project requirements
  • Assist with takeoffs, pricing, and scope development
  • Help keep estimating workflows organized and on schedule

Qualifications

  • Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent a plus
  • HVAC estimating experience required
  • HVAC internship or related estimating experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally with GCs and field teams
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities
