Job Description:

We are seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships with deep technical expertise and exceptional strategic acumen to drive high-value partnerships across our Communications and Spectrum Dominance portfolio. In this role, the candidate will identify, negotiate, and execute complex external collaborations that directly expand our market share and advance our technological capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical familiarity with defense systems, specifically tactical radios, night vision devices, datalinks, protected waveforms, electronic warfare, counter-UAS, and electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) passive sensing devices. They will serve as the primary bridge between our internal Engineering and Business Development teams, and key external industry partners to accelerate the deployment of next-generation mission solutions.

Essential Functions:

  • Build strategic alliances with key industry partners
  • Help shape technology roadmaps to align with future customer needs
  • Work with Engineering to draft solutions that expand our market share and advance our technological capabilities
  • Create and maintain a framework to gate potential industry partnerships
  • Brief the Segment staff, to include the Segment President, on potential new partnerships as well as update them on existing partnerships
  • Work with Strategy to outline partnerships as part of our strategic plans
  • Act as the Segment POC for industry partnerships that cross Sectors
  • Ability to travel 25%-50%
  • Ability to obtain a US Security clearance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 15 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 13 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  • Understanding of the aerospace and defense landscape, to include potential industry partners and competitors is a must
  • Strong technical and strategic acumen required
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint for executive level communication
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with tactical radios, night vision devices, datalinks, protected waveforms, electronic warfare, counter-UAS, and electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) passive sensing devices preferred
  • Experience utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) to drive business practices is desired
  • Previous experience in an engineering or strategy role is a plus
  • Existing TS/SCI security clearance preferred

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $159,500 - $196,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $138,500 - $257,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
