Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Junior Security REVIT Technician to join our team in White Plains, NY. This is an entry-level role designed for someone with a Revit design background, who is eager to learn the specialized field of security system design. You'll work under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers, gaining hands-on experience in designing access control, CCTV/video surveillance, and integrated security systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing REVIT/ CAD drawings:
  • Site plans
  • Device layouts
  • Wiring diagrams
  • Equipment elevations
  • Create detailed Revit models based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure model accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including drawings and specifications.
  • Assist in coordinating with others to integrate models and resolve design issues.
  • Update and modify models as required throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide Revit support and training to team members as needed.
  • Support senior designers/engineers in creating submittals, product specs, and bills of materials.
  • Learn how security systems integrate with IT networks, electrical infrastructure, and other trades.
  • Provide basic field support (site walks, as-built updates) under supervision.
  • Design wiring schemes for typical devices and systems.

What We're Looking For:
  • Certificate, diploma, or associate degree in REVIT/ AUTOCAD.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Revit modeling.
  • Proficiency in other Autodesk software (AutoCAD or similar).
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office apps (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, etc)
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with reading construction drawings.
  • Able to travel to active project sites and be at those sites for days at times.

Nice to Have (but not required):
  • Internship, co-op, or prior exposure to construction, low-voltage, or security projects.
