The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for designing the sensors, the microfabrication process and the backend readout circuitry and system-level packaging. The postdoctoral associate will also work with other researchers at CMU and also industry members of the project to integrate the sensor with the microfluidic sample delivery system and apply the surface chemistry for the overall system integration. In particular, the postdoctoral associate is expected to perform benchtop testing of the system to benchmark its performance.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a multi-disciplinary project with a team of scientists and engineers and experts in commercialization and translational research. This project provides a vibrant learning environment for all the trainees. The PI is committed to the professional development of the postdoc associate in addition to their technical excellence.
