About the role
Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness, managed by HealthFitness, is looking for an experienced Lymphatic Health & MELT Method® Instructor to join the whole health team at our facility in Bentonville, AR.
The Lymphatic Health & MELT Method® Instructor is responsible for designing and delivering engaging, evidence-informed educational programs that promote lymphatic health, fascia health, recovery, mobility, and overall well-being. Through workshops, classes, demonstrations, and interactive learning experiences, this role empowers participants to better understand their bodies, develop sustainable self-care practices, and incorporate healthy lifestyle behaviors that support long-term wellness.
Serving as both an educator and wellness advocate, the instructor creates a welcoming and inclusive learning environment where participants of all backgrounds and experience levels feel comfortable exploring new approaches to self-care. The instructor utilizes MELT Method® principles, wellness education, and behavior change strategies to help participants improve body awareness, reduce everyday discomfort, support resilience and recovery, and enhance quality of life.
This role collaborates closely with the Whole Health team to develop innovative programming, evaluate participant outcomes, and ensure educational offerings align with organizational well-being objectives while fostering a culture of proactive health management and lifelong wellness.
Job Responsibilities
-Facilitate Health Education Programs
  • Deliver engaging workshops, classes, demonstrations, and educational experiences focused on lymphatic health, fascia health, recovery, mobility, hydration, self-care, and the MELT Method®.
  • Facilitate evidence-informed learning experiences that increase participant awareness of healthy lifestyle practices and encourage behavior change.
  • Educate participants on the role of the lymphatic system, connective tissue health, movement, stress management, and recovery techniques in supporting overall well-being.
  • Demonstrate and guide participants through self-care techniques and MELT Method® practices within established scope of practice.
  • Create a welcoming, inclusive, and psychologically safe environment that encourages participation, learning, exploration, and skill development.
  • Modify instructional approaches and educational content to meet the needs of diverse populations, learning preferences, and varying levels of experience.

-Member Engagement & Wellness Coaching
  • Build positive, supportive relationships with participants and foster ongoing engagement in Whole Health programming.
  • Encourage participants to take an active role in their health and well-being through education, self-awareness, and practical self-care strategies.
  • Answer participant questions and provide wellness education while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and scope of practice.
  • Help participants identify realistic and sustainable habits that support recovery, mobility, stress management, and overall wellness goals.
  • Connect members with additional wellness resources, programs, and services available through Whole Health offerings.
  • Serve as a trusted wellness resource and ambassador for preventive health and self-care initiatives.

-Program Development & Content Creation
  • Collaborate with Whole Health staff and organizational partners to design, develop, enhance, and implement educational programming aligned with wellness objectives.
  • Create engaging presentations, participant guides, handouts, educational resources, and learning materials that support program goals.
  • Research and incorporate current trends, emerging practices, and evidence-based approaches related to lymphatic health, fascia care, recovery, wellness education, and the MELT Method®.
  • Recommend new workshops, educational topics, and learning experiences based on participant feedback and organizational needs.
  • Ensure all programming content promotes accurate, accessible, and participant-centered health education.

-Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
  • Collect and analyze participant feedback, attendance trends, and engagement data to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Monitor participant outcomes and identify opportunities to enhance educational impact and participant satisfaction.
  • Participate in planning discussions and strategic conversations regarding program growth and innovation.
  • Stay current on industry best practices, research, certifications, and advancements in wellness education, recovery strategies, lymphatic health, fascia health, and related disciplines.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to strengthen overall Whole Health programming and member experience.

-Administrative & Team Support
  • Complete attendance tracking, reporting requirements, and program documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in team meetings, facilitator trainings, continuing education opportunities, and organizational wellness initiatives.
  • Assist with program scheduling, communications, event coordination, and operational logistics as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational standards, safety practices, confidentiality requirements, and company policies.
  • Support a collaborative team environment focused on delivering exceptional wellness experiences and measurable participant outcomes.

-Other duties as needed/assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Public Health, Health Promotion, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Wellness, Recreation, Allied Health, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or a related field or the equivalent certifications, and directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Two (2) years of experience facilitating health education, wellness programming, fitness instruction, therapeutic movement, community health education, health coaching, or related wellness services.
  • Experience presenting educational content to groups in a professional, community, healthcare, corporate wellness, or fitness setting.
  • Experience developing and delivering engaging educational materials and programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate health and wellness concepts to diverse populations.
  • MELT Method® Instructor Certification (preferred at hire or obtained within an agreed-upon timeframe).
  • Nationally recognized Health Coach, Fitness, or Wellness certification (ACE, ACSM, NASM, NBC-HWC, etc.).
  • Adult and pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, National Safety Institute, or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date

The compensation range for this role is $40 - $45 per hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
