Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Director of National Accounts to join our Sales team. This strategic leadership role reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and is responsible for developing and growing key national account relationships across both our Single Family and Multifamily business segments. The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven sales leader with experience influencing executive decision-makers and driving growth through strategic partnerships.

Job Summary

The Director of National Accounts serves as the strategic sales lead for Organized Living's national accounts, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Dealers, and Executive Leadership to expand our presence with builders, developers, architects, contractors, and property management organizations.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Develop and execute national account strategies that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Identify, prioritize, and develop new national account opportunities within the Single Family and Multifamily residential markets.
  • Build executive-level relationships with national and regional builders, owner developers, architects, general contractors, remodelers, property management companies, and other key industry partners.
  • Lead the national account sales process from prospecting and relationship development through contract negotiation, specification, implementation, and ongoing account management.
  • Create strategic partnership programs that strengthen Organized Living's brand presence and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with national customers to understand their business objectives and develop joint growth initiatives that create mutual success.
  • Partner with Sales Managers, Territory Managers, and Sales Representatives to transition national opportunities into regional sales execution.
  • Support forecasting, strategic account planning, and territory development in partnership with Sales Leadership.
  • Participate in executive customer meetings, joint sales calls, product presentations, and strategic account planning sessions.
  • Strengthen dealer partnerships while expanding dealer opportunities with builders, developers, architects, and contractors.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop sales presentations, educational content, customer resources, and promotional programs that support national account growth.
  • Increase product specifications through relationships with builders, architects, designers, and developers.
  • Deliver Lunch & Learn presentations, educational seminars, executive briefings, and product demonstrations that promote Organized Living's solutions.
  • Represent Organized Living at industry trade shows, conferences, networking events, and key association meetings.
  • Actively participate in organizations such as NAHB, NMHC, NAA, AIA, ASID Industry Partners, and other industry associations.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, opportunity tracking, customer contacts, and sales pipeline reporting.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to align strategic initiatives and business objectives.
  • Provide market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive analysis to support product development and business planning.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of successful experience in national account management, strategic sales, or business development.
  • Experience selling into the residential construction, building products, home improvement, multifamily, or related industries preferred.
  • Demonstrated success developing executive-level relationships and negotiating strategic agreements with national customers.
  • Strong understanding of the Single Family and Multifamily residential construction markets.
  • Experience working with builders, developers, architects, general contractors, dealers, or property management organizations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, business planning, and opportunity management capabilities.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable business growth strategies.
  • Highly organized with excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
