Responsibilities: Design and develop manufactured products. Combine artistic talent with research on product use, marketing, and materials to create the most functional and appealing product design. Create micro-applications for sales enablement learning. Build, grow, andmaintaina library of reusable assets to enable scalable presentation templates. Build videos, demos, animation, motion graphics, infographics and more for sales enablement, product launches, and other client-facing initiatives. Conduct user interviews and design thinking exercises to gain feedback for Autodesk Construction Solutions internal applications. Gather quantitative and qualitative metrics that capture users' explicit and implicit needs. Act as the voice of the user and ensure contentmeethigh-quality standards in actual user outcomes. Collaborate with sales enablement specialists to design a seamless sales experience starting from user research, early concepts to final product. Work with product,salesand marketing teams to create engaging sales training contenttomultiple audiences (internal teams & partners). After testing, field feedback from users to gain critical insights on how to improve the user experience, determining customersatisfactionand implementing changes. Analyze resources, tools, content, and information to help convert leads and audience members into customers. Share ways of working that include idea screening, user testing, idea generation, and concept planning that improve the content creation process. Bring in some industry experience indesigning forconstruction. Telecommuting ispermitted.

MinimumRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Centered Design, InformationTechnologyor related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a designer-related occupation.Telecommuting ispermitted.

Special Requirements: Position requires at least 1 year of experience in each of the following skills:

  • Use Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD to create low-fidelity and high-fidelity interaction design prototypes for e-learning modules, to ensure the designs meet instructional goals in construction sales and provide effective learner engagement

  • Use Adobe Creative Suite to create reusable assets such as illustrations and graphics for educational content to enhance learning material's comprehensibility

  • Use content authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Absorb Create, and Tiled to create interactive course modules, resources and catalogs that are user-friendly and enhance learning outcomes

  • Use Adobe Creative Suite to create dynamic and visually engaging instructional videos and animationsshowcasingconstruction and sales processes, and other industry best practices that support learning objectives

  • Utilize knowledge of end-to-end design process to design digital experiences and other design collaterals from early concepts into a polished final product to produce high-quality educational experiences while ensuring accessibility and usability for all learners in the construction sector

  • Conduct user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and other design thinking exercises with users and stakeholders to gather quantitative and qualitative metrics that capture users' explicit and implicit needs,utilizingthese insights to guide design changes within course modules

  • Create user journey maps, screen flows, and storyboards to make sure design content is aligned with user/learner needs and mental model, ensuring that the instructional flow is intuitive and meets educational outcomes, particularly for construction professionals

  • Capture all design decisions, design artifacts, and results into a cohesive presentation for stakeholders that effectively communicates the rationale behind design choices anddemonstratesthe impact of the design on learning outcomes, with a focus on improving construction industry knowledge and competencies

  • Utilize knowledge of design systems to use, contribute to, and create a library of reusable UI design components that promote consistency and efficiency in developing scalable and maintainable learning materials

  • Utilize knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS, and other UI programming languages to design within technical constraints to ensure digital experiences are user-friendly while still technicallyfeasibleacross various platforms

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $78,000and $130,000 /year. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographiclocation, andmay exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
