A strong interest in community service, nonprofit work, and the mission of the YMCA. Must be able to commit to the duration of the internship (May 26th-Aug 8th) Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Social media tools Application Materials: A current resume detailing relevant experience, education, and skills. A max 250 word essay explaining why you want to intern with the Beaver YMCA and how it aligns with your career goals. At least one letter of recommendation (preferably from a professor or previous employer). Internship Available Departments: Wellness: Interns in the Wellness department will have the opportunity to assist with planning and implementing fitness programs, wellness workshops, and educational campaigns aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles.
