GENERAL SUMMARY
In this role we are looking for someone who lives in, or at least feels very comfortable in, social media.
We need someone who is the rare combination of social media editor and social media copywriter, with a heavy emphasis on the editor side of things.
This person should love the challenge of taking long-form B2B content and creating more social-friendly, social-formatted posts that makes a technology brand feel more like a technology content creator.
We will ask this person to create and edit dozens of posts a month, but they will have the support of an additional copywriter, an ACD-level AD and a CD. They will also have a team of account, project management and a producer on their side.

Responsibilities
Day to Day:
  1. Develops and advocates for unique, award-winning quality communications for the majority of assignments and social.
  2. Delivers ideas and work that exceed creative expectations and client business goals
  3. Assures a high agency standard is met or exceeded.
  4. Contributes to new business pitches, and makes client presentations
  5. Stays current with regard to client's business, industry landscape and product strategy and information
  6. Proactively stays abreast with the constantly evolving advertising, technology and social landscape. Actively engages in conversation and sharing of ideas
  7. Conceptualizes, brainstorms, imagines, and develops creative ideas and executions for social media
  8. Works with production to carry out multiple projects, and oversee the work of directors, photographers, digital artists, CGI studios, and illustrators

Qualifications
Experience:
1-3 years of demonstrable experience in generating work at an award-winning level. Current knowledge of all relevant software is required (PremierePro). A broad understanding of the online landscape is critical, as is a practical knowledge of executing work in the space.
Portfolio, reel and active social channel featuring original content is a must. Ideally a candidate will have examples of social posts they've edited and written for their own channels and for brands' channels. And, Premiere Pro is second nature to them. (Although, depending on skill level with other editing apps, we'd consider them.)
Education: College degree is preferred; however, competency is evaluated based on body of work.
Collaborates with Others: Works with other Creatives, Account Group, Strategic Planning, and Broadcast or Digital Producers.
Supervision Received: Supervised by Creative Director(s) who will review their work on an ongoing basis. It is also expected that this person determines and initiates non-scheduled input and dialog with the Creative Director.
Pace of Work: Fast paced environment. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. It is also expected that they will participate in determining and weighing their workload against the creative standards of the agency.
Scope: Every project is different and offers a new set of challenges. Position demands that new avenues are used to solve problems in an innovative way while at the same time remaining true to each client's brand identity and each project's strategic objective.
Impact: As in the case in any advertising agency, our creative output is our product.

Compensation Range: $66,785 -$96,690 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
