Join GALLO's award-winning Information Technology team and help build the applications, systems, and integrations that support the world’s largest family-owned winery. As an IT Software Developer Intern, you’ll contribute to meaningful work across web, mobile, cloud, database, and production service environments while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic business supported by leading technology.

This internship is designed to help you grow your business, data, or technical skills through project-based work with Application Development, Business Analysis, and/or Data Services teams. You may collaborate with cross-functional partners across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Winemaking, and Research & Development, giving you exposure to how technology powers a broad and innovative organization.

You’ll develop full-stack code, debug and test applications, work with databases and cloud services, build and deploy services and integrations, create technical documentation, and develop system diagrams and workflows. This internship is an opportunity to apply your education, build practical experience, and explore a future career path with Gallo.

What You'll Need

  • Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree OR Master's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Informatics, to be obtained between December 2027 and June 2029.
  • Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

How You'll Stand Out

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s OR Master's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Informatics.
  • Previous software development experience through coursework, personal projects, internships, or open-source contributions.
  • Proficiency with cloud development, databases, and full-stack software development.
  • Experience with AI agent integrations or agentic engineering.

Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
