As a Medicaid Business Analyst you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.
Responsibilities: -
• Medicaid Business Analyst with deep expertise in payer systems, Medicaid workflows, and EDI transactions.
• This individual will play a key role in requirements gathering, system analysis, and supporting Medicaid implementations and enhancements.
• The ideal candidate can effectively bridge business and technology, bringing strong functional, data, and integration expertise.
• Gather and document: o Business requirements (BRDs / FRDs) o User stories, acceptance criteria o Process flows (As-Is / To-Be)
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications Medicaid Domain Expertise (Core)
• Analyze workflows related to: o Claims adjudication o Eligibility & benefits o Enrollment & membership o Prior authorization o Provider operations
• Ensure alignment with CMS and state Medicaid requirements EDI & Data Analysis
• Work extensively with : o 837 (Claims) o 835 (Remits) o 270/271 (Eligibility) o 278 (Authorizations)
• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience
• Strong Medicaid / healthcare payer experience (mandatory)
