Job description

Position Summary...What you'll do...This role plays a critical part in driving Quality excellence within a Distribution Center by leading process improvement initiatives and eliminating quality losses. You’ll partner closely with operations leaders to deploy Walmart Performance System (WPS) methodologies and build sustainable capabilities across teams. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment where data, process, and people come together, this role offers meaningful impact at scale. What You’ll Do
  • Lead the use of Process Improvement tools and methods (e.g., 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, time and motion studies) to eliminate quality losses and process deviations within the Distribution Center.
  • Manage execution of top Quality loss projects, including deviation submissions to One Best Way playbooks and input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams for replication opportunities.
  • Support the tactical deployment of the Quality Excellence WPS program, including development of Quality loss profiles, gap analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Deliver functional area results through KPI analysis, loss elimination, and creation of standard work to reduce process variation.
  • Partner with Department and Area Managers to support WPS projects, associate engagement, and KPI improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities by aligning stakeholders, communicating goals, tracking progress, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Have experience leading Quality or Process Improvement initiatives within a distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of WPS, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Are skilled in data analysis, KPI management, and translating insights into actionable improvements.
  • Excel at influencing cross‑functional partners and building capability in managers and associates.
  • Have experience supervising, mentoring, and developing teams in an operational setting.

The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $156,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
