Job description

Dubak Electrical Group LLC is growing and in search of an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have worked in an industrial environment and have experience with the primary job duties listed in this description. 

The primary job duties will include, but are not limited to:


  • Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical power, controls and instruments systems throughout industrial project sites.


  • Work on voltage controls as well as circuits to include 110V, 440V and 4160V.


  • Repair instruments using testing and calibration equipment. The individual will be required to work on load and line side electrical components up to 4160V.


  • Fabricate conduit racking systems, install electrical equipment, and install emt and rigid conduit.


  • Install and calibrate process control instrumentation with PLC control systems.


  • Troubleshoot PLC's for automated machinery and conveyor systems.


  • Complete electrical preventative maintenance activities.


  • Plan, prioritize and schedule electrical installation and construction with input from field supervision or project management personnel.


  • Install, Troubleshoot, and Repair 460V motors and controls to include variable frequency drives.


  • Read and update changes made to blueprints, P&ID-s, single-lines, ladder logic and wiring schematics.


  • Effectively use typical test and calibration equipment including pneumatic.


Job Requirements:


  • Ability to work overtime and weekends.


  • Have a high regard and ownership for personal safety and the safety of others.


  • Ability to perform tasks wearing required PPE such as protective clothing, safety glasses/goggles, steel-toed boots, etc.


  • Strong analytical skills


  • Willing to travel for short periods of time when needed.
