  • Experience with technical transfer documents and scale-up
  • Experience with live probiotic strains preferred
  • Experience with anaerobic strains preferred

Role:

  • Work with CDMOs and CMOs to develop processes for scaling novel strains in the probiotics industry
  • Help guide processes from proof-of-concept at bench scale to pilot and manufacturing scales
  • Conduct thorough research and contribute to the development of processes that meet the company's cost targets for commercialization of new technologies
  • Organize and maintain data records of all process development, both in-house and across partner facilities
  • Track and maintain timelines to ensure projects meet required deadlines
  • Travel to 3rd party facilities to support development and aid in commercialization efforts (25%)
  • Troubleshoot issues related to technology scale-up
  • Assist with various downstream applications including product formulation, stability, and shelf life
  • Contribute to development of downstream applications for freeze drying, spray drying, and cryopreservation
