Responsible for independently planning, executing, and documenting testing activities for electronic health record (EHR) applications and integrated systems within an assigned scope. Develops and maintains test plans, scripts, and scenarios to validate workflows for functionality, accuracy, and compliance. Collaborates with application teams, subject matter experts, and project staff to identify defects, coordinate resolution, and support readiness for go-live. Operates with minimal day-to-day direction, exercises independent judgment on moderately complex issues, and recommends improvements to testing methods and processes.

Plans and executes testing for assigned EHR modules and integrations; defines objectives, coverage, and entry/exit criteria.

Authors and maintains test artifacts (plans, scripts, data sets, traceability to requirements/workflows) and contributes to a central repository.

Executes functional, integration, regression, and user-acceptance support testing; coordinates retesting following fixes and releases.

Logs, documents, and tracks defects through resolution; performs initial triage, validates fixes, and escalates risks/issues as appropriate.

Supports cross-system validation (interfaces, devices, conversions) and collaborates with stakeholders to resolve data and workflow discrepancies.

Prepares testing status updates, metrics, and concise summaries for stakeholders; provides recommendations to enhance test effectiveness and efficiency.

Contributes to test automation for repeatable scenarios within assigned areas, in alignment with team standards.

Performs quality reviews of peer test cases and results; shares knowledge and provides informal guidance to less-experienced analysts.

Participates in go-live readiness activities (e.g., cutover simulations, mock clinics) and supports post-go-live stabilization within scope.

Ensures testing practices align with organizational policies, standards, and applicable regulatory considerations.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree

Experience Requirement: 5+ years of experience

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
