Job description

AWS Developer Relations is seeking a Community Manager to join the Builder Community Programs team. This team owns the strategy and execution for AWS's flagship community programs - AWS Heroes and AWS Community Builders - serving +4,000 members across 115+ countries. You will play a critical role in growing and nurturing a global community of technical advocates who create content, speak at events, and help millions of developers succeed with AWS.
Key job responsibilities
Community Engagement & Member Success
- Serve as a point of contact for community members, building authentic relationships and ensuring members feel supported, valued, and connected to AWS
- Manage day-to-day operations for community programs, including member onboarding, communications, and lifecycle management
Program Execution & Growth
- Assist in development of community initiatives that increase scale and health of the community.
- Help manage cohort cycles for Community programs, including applications, evaluations, renewals, and graduation tracking
Events & Amplification
- Coordinate community presence (re:Invent, Summits, Community Days) and support community member participation at at AWS and third-party events
- Identify opportunities to amplify community voices through AWS marketing channels - blog posts, video content, customer stories, and social media
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with AWS product teams to facilitate community feedback loops, technical briefings, and early access programs
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and analytics teams to amplify community impact.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience in a marketing role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leading complex global or country-wide initiatives
- - Experience in the cloud computing, open source, or developer tools ecosystem
- - Familiarity with AWS services or other major cloud platforms
- - Experience with community analytics, engagement metrics, and data-driven program iteration

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
