Dental Assistant | Chelmsford, MA

Join a busy, growing dental practice while providing patient focused care daily. TeamstersCare is seeking a dependable, people-oriented Full-Time Dental Assistant to join their established practice serving the union members and their beneficiaries.

 A valid Massachusetts Dental Assistant License is required.

Benefits/Perks:

  • Up to $26 per hour + fully paid employer benefits, equaling about $30,000 including:
  • Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Employee Assistance Program, Life Insurance and continuing education!
  • Generous PTO, including holidays, sick, personal and vacation time
  • Pension Plan

Shift/Work Hours:

  • Fulltime 40-hour workweek, including some evening and alternating Saturdays

Essential Duties:

  • Provide excellent patient care in preparation for treatments
  • Create a welcoming environment for patients
  • Manage the patients’ comfort during the exam, including reducing anxiety
  • Assist the Dentist during procedures, ensuring they have all appropriate instruments
  • Provide patients with post treatment care instructions 
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
  • Support front desk operations as needed (ie: check-in, scheduling phone support)
  • Take x-rays and impressions as requested
  • Other duties as assigned by the dentist

Education/Certifications/Licensure:

  • High School Diploma
  • Massachusetts Dental Assistant License
  • X-Ray and CPR/AED certification
  • 1+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred, or relevant experience through internships
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with dental software
