Job Overview:

Pay Range: $12.75hr - $17.75hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Phlebotomy experience is required, including internship or externship experience to understand basic principles.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience is required, such as retail or home health aide roles.
  • Keyboard and data entry experience is required.
  • Ability to perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
  • High level of customer service skills and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient care by greeting patients upon arrival and addressing questions or concerns with care and compassion.
  • Maintain the integrity of the waiting area and assist with check-ins using a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet.
  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment.
  • Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients and the public.
  • Provide coverage in the draw room for staff breaks or staffing shortages.
  • Utilize phlebotomy skills to support clinical operations.
