Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Domestic Violence Services Intern in our Domestic Violence Advocacy programs at Behavioral Health Network!
This internship opportunity in the Domestic Violence Advocacy programs will support your learning in the following:
  • Learning about the dynamics of Domestic Violence, prevention, and awareness.
  • Shadowing and practicing case management & peer counseling skills.
  • Learning court procedures around domestic violence with SafePlan advocates, including protection orders.
  • Training on completion of data entry of domestic violence information into database.
  • Involvement in DV education and/or support groups, including how to develop and facilitate groups & trainings.
  • Accompanying to Task Force Meetings and DV awareness trainings, if possible.
  • Using BHN technology and ability to access WIFI and systems to perform duties while offsite.

This internship would run for a flexible number of hours (based on college program needs total) and would be unpaid, as it is for college credit.
