Job description

SUMMARY Assists in maintaining accurate inventory numbers by cycle counting parts, auditing inventory transactions of customer returns, and the administration of part revisions, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. These duties are not inclusive and additional duties may be assigned to the employee at any time.
  • Maintain a schedule and conduct cycle counts of parts that are stocked in the Bremen plant.
  • Search for root causes of inventory inaccuracies and suggest corrective actions.
  • Audit inventory transactions generated by customer returns.
  • Make inventory adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor incoming customer orders and assist with assigning returned parts to fill them.
  • Complete the part obsolescence process as obsolescence requests are issued.
  • Prepare for and assist with administration of physical inventory counts.
  • Assist with inventory location organization and labeling.
  • Enter part data into the computer system as requested.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.
