Millennium Corporation is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to support a program in Quantico, VA. This position provides engineering and analytical support for configuration management activities while also supporting program risk management processes throughout the system life-cycle.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting Department of Defense acquisition programs and is familiar with engineering change management, technical documentation, configuration control processes, technical reviews and possesses an active Secret security clearance.

The Configuration Management Analyst will:

  • Maintain Configuration Management (CM) Plans and related documentation.
  • Coordinate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Configuration Review Boards (CRBs).
  • Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Technical Data Packages (TDPs), engineering drawings, and other technical documentation.
  • Support Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA) and engineering technical reviews.
  • Track configuration changes, technical baselines, and action items through completion.
  • Support program risk management activities, including maintaining risk registers, coordinating Risk Management Boards (RMBs), and tracking mitigation efforts.
  • Develop metrics and status reports to support program leadership.
  • Evaluate program artifacts and maintain and update a repository of Risk and risk mitigations based on RMB results.

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting Configuration Management for a DoD acquisition or engineering program.
    Experience with Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and Technical Data Packages (TDPs).
  • Familiarity with configuration audits (FCA/PCA) and technical reviews.
  • Active Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting ACAT I-III Programs of Record.
  • Experience with program risk management, risk registers, or Risk Management Boards (RMBs).
  • Experience with Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs).

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.


  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
