Internship Data Classification is an entry-level, supervised role focused on learning data categorization tasks during an internship. While both roles involve working with data, internships are designed for skill development, whereas data analysts perform independent, ongoing analysis in a professional setting.

Job description

Harbor is seeking an Alliances & Partner Operations Associate to help scale and optimize our strategic partner ecosystem supporting Harbor's mission of building and managing a world-class ecosystem of leading partners who provide solutions to our corporate law department and law firms' pressing operational issues. This role is central to driving operational excellence across our alliances portfolio by improving pipeline visibility, enabling cross-functional execution, and ensuring partner initiatives translate into measurable business outcomes.
Working closely with Sales, Delivery, and Marketing teams, you will help identify growth opportunities, streamline partner operations, and support the expansion of AI-enabled solutions that deliver value to our clients. This is a hybrid position working from our Chicago headquarters office with some remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive operational excellence across Harbor's partner ecosystem by maintaining accurate pipeline visibility, identifying risks, and ensuring timely follow-through on strategic initiatives.
  • Own partner operations within Salesforce and other systems, ensuring high-quality data, actionable reporting, and visibility into partner performance and opportunities.
  • Analyze partner overlap and whitespace opportunities using tools such as Crossbeam to identify new revenue opportunities and strengthen go-to-market execution.
  • Support partner strategy through territory planning, opportunity prioritization, research, and competitive analysis.
  • Coordinate recurring partner business reviews and operational cadences, preparing agendas, metrics, materials, and executive-ready updates while driving accountability for next steps.
  • Build strong working relationships across Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and external partners to keep initiatives aligned and moving forward.
  • Monitor partner health, surface insights and recommendations, and prepare concise updates to support leadership decision-making.
  • Support the integration and adoption of AI-enabled partner offerings while tracking strategic initiatives and key milestones.
  • Provide day-to-day direction and quality oversight for interns supporting the Alliances function.
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience in partnerships, operations, consulting, business operations, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Experience working with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and advanced Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail and a focus on execution

Preferred:
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, or legal environments
  • Exposure to partner ecosystems, channel programs, or go-to-market initiatives
  • Experience with Crossbeam, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics tools
  • Interest in emerging AI technologies and how they can enhance business operations and partnerships
