Project Manager (Data Center)

Position Summary:
The Data Center Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of data center infrastructure projects, including the deployment of structured cabling systems, fiber optic and copper installations, rack & stack configurations, and the implementation of ladder runners, raceways, busways, and all above-the-rack infrastructure. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management acumen to successfully deliver complex data center projects on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing large-scale data center builds or retrofits, with a focus on quality assurance, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.
  • Resource Management: Lead and manage the project team, assigning tasks, and ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently and effectively.
  • Time Management: Develop and maintain the project schedule, tracking progress, and making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Implement contingency plans to address unexpected issues.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring that the project stays within budget. Approve and track expenses.

Qualifications:
