Job description

Position Summary
The Clinical Nutrition team at Boston Children’s Hospital is currently seeking passionate Registered Dietitian across multiple levels to support the Adult Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Program. With life expectancy increasing for those with CF, this role is vital to ensure evidence-based patient and family-centered nutrition care for the complex and evolving needs of this patient population. This Adult CF dietitian will work closely alongside highly trained physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists and many other consulting providers. Candidates will be evaluated and placed at Clinical Nutrition Specialist Level I or Level II based on experience, competencies, and alignment with career ladder criteria.
Position is eligible for a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus!
Level II – Adult Cystic Fibrosis Dietitian II (Clinical Nutrition Specialist II)
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in Dietetics with at least 2 years in pediatric nutrition
  • Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian
  • Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
Salary Range: $58,677.00-$93,902
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing nutritional care to patients in the Adult Cystic Fibrosis outpatient setting.
  • Evaluating the medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assessing patient needs in order to develop and implement the most appropriate nutrition care plans.
  • Serving as a proficient resource, mentor and educator for health care providers, students, community dietitians and the general public.
  • Supporting the Adult CF Program and Clinical Nutrition initiatives to improve professional practice including community-based initiatives.

Level I – Adult Cystic Fibrosis Dietitian I (Clinical Nutrition Specialist I)
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
  • Completion of an ACEND (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) accredited Internship Program.
  • Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian
  • Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
Salary Range: $55,369.60-$88,576.80 Annual
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing nutritional care to patients in the Adult Cystic Fibrosis outpatient setting.
  • Evaluating the medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assessing patient needs in order to develop and implement the most appropriate nutrition care plans.
  • Serving as a competent resource, mentor and educator for health care providers, students, community dietitians and the general public.
  • Supporting the Adult CF Program and Clinical Nutrition initiatives to improve professional practice including community-based initiatives.

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
