Duties and Responsibilities
Community College of Denver is seeking individuals with demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive learning and work environment. CCD values the ability to work effectively with students, families, faculty, instructors and staff of diverse backgrounds.
PURPOSE/SUMMARY OF JOB:
Surgical Technology adjunct instructor(s) needed to teach specific laboratory and/or lecture courses as well as oversee internship assignments at local hospitals.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and/or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) with a minimum of 2 years experience in the operating room.
  • Associate's degree is the minimum for overseeing internships.
  • Must be able to obtain a Career and Technical Education credential through the Colorado Community College System. For information on how to obtain a CTE credential, please visit this site:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Experience: Teaching experience.
