We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to support our Sales team and manage beauty packaging and turnkey development projects. This role is ideal for someone with experience in cosmetic packaging, product development, or project coordination who is ready to take the next step into a Project Management career.


The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of beauty packaging, supplier coordination, sampling, and turnkey development, while possessing the drive and ambition to grow into a fully independent Project Manager.


POSITION OVERVIEW

The Junior Project Manager will support the development and execution of beauty packaging and turnkey programs from concept through commercialization. This individual will work closely with Sales, Product Development, Design, Sourcing, Operations, and external suppliers to ensure projects remain on track, customer expectations are met, and launch timelines are successfully achieved.


This role requires a proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn all aspects of beauty packaging and turnkey development.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management & Customer Support

  • Support Sales Representatives in managing active customer programs
  • Coordinate project timelines, development schedules, and deliverables
  • Maintain project trackers and communicate status updates to internal teams and customers
  • Participate in customer meetings and assist with follow-up actions
  • Help manage customer expectations regarding timing, development, and deliverables


Packaging Development

  • Coordinate stock and custom packaging development projects
  • Work closely with approved suppliers and factory partners on component development
  • Track tooling schedules, development milestones, lead times, and production readiness
  • Review development samples and coordinate customer submissions
  • Maintain packaging specifications and technical documentation


Turnkey Product Development

  • Support turnkey projects involving packaging, formulation, filling, accessories, testing, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate formula submissions, compatibility testing, artwork approvals, and development milestones
  • Ensure packaging and formula timelines remain aligned throughout the development process
  • Assist in identifying and resolving project challenges before they impact launch timing


Commercial & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations, cost sheets, and pricing documentation
  • Issue and manage Purchase Orders
  • Assist with freight estimates and supplier communications
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and customer files
  • Monitor project timelines and escalate risks when necessary


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Product Development, Design, Sourcing, Operations, and Quality teams
  • Coordinate communication between suppliers, factories, and internal stakeholders
  • Support problem-solving efforts related to development, timing, quality, and cost

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in beauty packaging, cosmetic product development, project management, project coordination, or a related field
  • Experience working with turnkey beauty programs strongly preferred
  • Understanding of cosmetic packaging components, development timelines, and supplier coordination
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience supporting Sales teams and customer-facing projects preferred
