Marketing Intern - Content & Communications

Compensation: $20.00 / hour
Description
Invictus Capital Partners and Verus Mortgage Capital are looking for highly motivated, creative, and fast-moving Marketing Interns to help us build and scale our marketing and communications function.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants real-world experience creating high-volume, high-impact content across social media, sales enablement, internal communications, recruiting materials, and brand marketing. You won't be sitting on the sidelines - you'll be creating content that is actively used by our leadership team, sales organization, and corporate functions.
You will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and work closely with leaders across the business.
This is an onsite internship role expected to work at least 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Create large volumes of professional marketing content for:
    • LinkedIn company pages
    • External communications
    • Sales representatives and recruiting teams
    • Templates, presentations, and branded collateral
  • Design graphics, social posts, carousels, short-form copy, presentations, and visual assets using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and other digital asset platforms
  • Maintain and apply brand standards across multiple business lines, ensuring a cohesive look and voice
  • Turn ideas and requests into polished deliverables quickly and professionally
  • Support content planning, organization, and production workflows
  • Collaborate with leadership and business teams to translate concepts into compelling communications
  • Contribute ideas for improving how we communicate internally and externally

Education and Experience:
We are looking for interns who are:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • Creative and highly organized
  • Fast, responsive, and execution-oriented
  • Professional in communication and presentation
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with a strong eye for design and branding
  • Interested in marketing, communications, branding, media, or content creation

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and social media content creation
  • Experience creating presentations, graphics, or short-form content
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with teams
