Job description

About Bizee

Bizee has helped nearly two million entrepreneurs start and run their businesses. Now we are building what comes next: an AI-powered Entrepreneur Operating System that helps founders launch, operate, stay compliant, and grow with less friction and more confidence.

We are profitable, founder-led, and operating at a clear inflection point. The next chapter requires a stronger operating system for how we hire, lead, communicate, develop talent, and scale execution across the company.

The Opportunity

The Principal Product Marketing Manager owns the strategic direction of Bizee’s product marketing function and the messaging, positioning, packaging, and go-to-market execution that drive subscription attach, conversion, retention, and revenue across the product suite. This role is the internal driver for foundational product positioning, pricing and packaging strategy, and funnel and lifecycle messaging. The Principal Product Marketing Manager builds Bizee’s product marketing function from the ground up, partners with Brand, Growth, Product, and Partnerships leadership, and equips Sales and Customer Success to communicate product value to customers.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and evolve Bizee’s foundational product messaging and positioning: how Bizee describes itself as a product and the value proposition that anchors all downstream messaging
  • Audit Bizee’s full product portfolio and own how each product is positioned and marketed, prioritizing focus based on revenue and business impact
  • Lead pricing and packaging strategy across formation, subscription, and add-on products: research, recommendations, and execution
  • Drive subscription and add-on product marketing through messaging, positioning, and product education that increases subscription attach, conversion, and long-term retention, and surfaces add-on products at the right moments in the customer journey
  • Optimize funnel messaging and positioning in close partnership with Growth, using existing audits and performance data to prioritize and drive opportunities
  • Lead third-party partner marketing: messaging, positioning, and execution for co-branded landing pages, emails, and in-app surfaces, in close partnership with the Partnerships team
  • Equip Sales and Customer Success with the messaging, collateral, and training to communicate product value and engage customers effectively on an ongoing basis
  • Lead cross-functional go-to-market for new packages, pricing changes, product repositioning, and audience expansion initiatives
  • Drive customer, market, and competitive research, and serve as the internal voice of the customer in product and marketing decisions
  • Define and own launch objectives, KPIs, and measurement frameworks for product marketing initiatives
What This Role Does Not Own
  • A/B testing, conversion rate experimentation, and funnel test execution
  • Brand strategy, brand identity, and brand voice and tone
  • SEO content strategy
  • Editorial and narrative content, including podcast and long-form storytelling
  • Lifecycle email and SMS execution, and paid media creative and buying
  • Product roadmap and product development decisions
  • Partner relationship management and contract negotiation
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in a subscription, SaaS, or platform business with a complex product portfolio
  • Experience building or scaling a product marketing function from an early stage
  • Deep experience driving pricing and packaging strategy, including research design and packaging structure decisions
  • Demonstrated impact on subscription retention, attach, and conversion through messaging, positioning, and product education
  • Strong cross-functional partnership experience with growth, product, partnerships, sales, and customer success teams
  • Management experience and readiness to build and lead a product marketing team
