To thrive as an Internship Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist, you need a solid understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and user experience principles, often supported by coursework or certifications in marketing, statistics, or a related field. Familiarity with A/B testing tools (like Optimizely or Google Optimize), web analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics), and basic HTML/CSS is typically expected. Strong analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and effective communication skills help you generate insights and collaborate across teams. This cross-functional work environment provides valuable exposure to different perspectives and skill sets, and interns often gain hands-on experience using industry-standard analytics tools. Job description

You’re not a “digital marketing person.” You’re the person who builds the thing, runs the campaign, reads the data, fixes what’s broken, and comes back Monday with three new ideas. You write HTML when you need to. You know what a Core Web Vital is and why it matters. You’ve managed an ad budget and actually hit your ROAS targets.

If that’s you — Front + Center wants to talk.

ABOUT FRONT + CENTER

F+C is a modern, design-forward brand on a mission to transform spaces through innovative refacing solutions. We’re building something — fast — and we need a digital operator who can build with us. This role owns the entire digital footprint: from the first search impression to the confirmed sale, it’s yours.

THE ROLE

This is a high-impact individual contributor position with real leadership responsibility. You’ll set the digital strategy, execute it yourself, direct outside agencies and contractors, and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and IT. No layers. No hand-off culture. You own the outcome.

The role launches as an IC position — and as F+C scales, so does it. The expectation is that you’ll eventually build and lead a team underneath you.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

Website & UX

  • Front-end development, maintenance, and continuous improvement (HTML, CSS, JavaScript — you’re doing it yourself, not just managing it).
  • UI/UX optimization to cut friction, lift engagement, and drive conversion.
  • Page design and publishing via Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Structured A/B testing programs with measurable results.

Search: SEO & AEO

  • Comprehensive SEO strategy: on-page, technical, and off-page.
  • Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) — getting F+C content surfaced in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and the AI search surfaces that are replacing traditional results.
  • Ongoing monitoring of rankings, crawl health, Core Web Vitals, and performance signals.

Paid Digital Advertising

  • End-to-end ownership of paid campaigns: Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max), PPC, and beyond.
  • Budget management, bid strategy, creative rotation — with ROAS accountability.
  • Attribution analysis to sharpen media mix and allocation.

Analytics, Reporting & AI

  • Own the full analytics stack: GA4, Tag Manager, dashboards, KPIs, and regular reporting that actually drives decisions.
  • Build and deploy AI-powered workflows — automated reporting, lead scoring, dynamic personalization, and whatever else gives F+C an edge.
  • Stay ahead of emerging platforms and bring the right ones in.

Demand Generation & eCommerce

  • Drive qualified leads and online sales through integrated B2C and B2B2C campaigns.
  • Manage and optimize the full ecommerce experience: ordering flows, product pages, pricing, checkout.
  • Build lead nurture programs with Sales to close the loop.

Competitive Intelligence & Vendor Management

  • Monitor competitor and home remodeling digital activity; benchmark F+C performance and surface opportunities proactively.
  • Lead external agencies and contractors — you set the bar, hold them to it, and replace them when needed.
  • Own vendor relationships day-to-day.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5+ years of progressive digital marketing experience in B2C or B2B2C environments.
  • Hands-on front-end dev skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) — you implement, not just direct.
  • Deep Google Ads expertise (Search, Display, Performance Max) and paid media fluency.
  • Strong SEO and AEO knowledge, including technical SEO and AI search visibility.
  • GA4 and Tag Manager proficiency; you build dashboards, not just read them.
  • Adobe Creative Suite for web and landing page design.
  • Experience managing outside agencies, freelancers, and contractors.
  • A demonstrated track record of building and deploying AI-powered marketing tools.
  • Strong analytical instincts and project management discipline.
  • Background in home improvement, home décor, remodeling, or a related category.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or similar).
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms (Optimizely, VWO, or native CMS tools).
  • Working knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms, HubSpot proficiency preferred.
  • Involvement in digital tool selection and implementation.

YOU’LL KNOW YOU’RE WINNING WHEN…

In your first 90 days: you’ve audited the digital footprint, established baseline KPIs, and know exactly where to push first.

By month 12:

  • Qualified lead volume and online sales are growing month over month.
  • Conversion rates are up, driven by a real testing program.
  • Paid media is hitting or beating ROAS targets.
  • The analytics environment is clean, current, and actually used to make decisions.
  • Vendors are delivering. On time. On budget.
  • The F+C digital presence looks exactly like what the brand is: modern, design-forward, and conversion-ready.

WHY FRONT + CENTER

  • You own the full channel. No silos. No “that’s not my lane.”
  • Real budget. Real authority. A leadership team that trusts data over opinions.
  • A brand that’s genuinely design-forward — you’ll have great creative material to work with.
  • A role built to grow: this is the foundation of something larger.
  • Remote-first with on-site options in select markets.

COMPENSATION

This is a salaried, exempt role starting at $80,000 per year. We recognize that the right person may bring more to the table than a starting figure reflects — final compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

This position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package consistent with Northern Contours, Inc. standards, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and additional ancillary benefits.
