Job description

NJI is an agency where creativity knows no borders. We navigate the complexities of public affairs, charting new paths across industries and continents to deliver work that sparks conversation, shifts perception, and inspires action.
The Program
We're looking for curious, motivated interns to join our team for a semester-long experience. Interns contribute to meaningful work from day one while learning alongside experts across the agency.
Whether your interests are in Client Services, Design, Development, Strategy, Content, Operations, or another discipline, you'll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to the inner workings of a fast-paced creative agency. As part of the application process, we'll ask you to identify the area(s) that interest you most.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Support client, internal, and project-based work across your assigned team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to move projects forward
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and agency initiatives
  • Conduct research, develop recommendations, and contribute new ideas
  • Learn and utilize agency tools, systems, and workflows
  • Manage assigned tasks and deadlines with increasing independence
  • Complete a capstone project or presentation at the conclusion of the program

Requirements
  • Current undergraduate student ( entering junior year or higher ), graduate student, or recent graduate
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
  • Eagerness to learn, contribute, and take initiative
  • Interest in communications, creative services, technology, public affairs, or related fields

Program Details
  • Approximately 14 weeks, cohort begins Tuesday, September 8
  • Minimum 20 hours per week; full-time preferred
  • Hybrid schedule based in our Georgetown office
  • Paid internship
