The Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience working with Landis+Gyr's global marketing team, supporting initiatives across digital marketing, content marketing, events, marketing operations, and internal communications. This internship is designed to provide broad exposure to B2B marketing while allowing the student to contribute to real business initiatives that support customers, employees, and sales teams.
Throughout the internship, the student will:
* Assist with website content updates, quality assurance testing, and digital content management.
* Support marketing campaigns by proofreading blogs, white papers, product collateral, and other communications.
* Help manage the social media content calendar and coordinate marketing activities across channels.
* Assist with planning and promotion for major industry events and conferences, including preparing marketing collateral and event materials.
* Participate in product collateral audits and help organize digital assets and sales enablement resources.
* Collaborate with Human Resources on internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, photography, and graphic design support.
* Work alongside cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Sales, HR, Corporate Communications, and Digital Marketing.
The student will develop practical skills in digital marketing, content strategy, website management, marketing operations, project coordination, event marketing, and cross-functional collaboration. They will also gain experience using professional marketing tools and platforms, including content management systems, SharePoint, HubSpot, ImageRelay, and Adobe applications.
Throughout the internship, the student will receive mentorship from the marketing team and participate in regular check-ins to review progress and discuss professional development. At the conclusion of the internship, the student will deliver a presentation highlighting key projects they supported, lessons learned, measurable contributions, and recommendations for future marketing initiatives. This final presentation will provide an opportunity to demonstrate their growth, showcase their work, and reflect on their internship experience.
Education:
Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Integrated Marketing Communications, Business Administration (Marketing concentration preferred), Journalism, Graphic Design, Media & Mass Communication, or a related field.
