We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Civil Litigation Attorney at our Wichita office. We are seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, responding promptly to client needs, and helping consumers resolve account balances while representing our clients with professionalism and care.


Key responsibilities upon licensure include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing a caseload of civil litigation matters, with an emphasis on resolving cases prior to trial
  • Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
  • Handle all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation
  • Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements on behalf of clients
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including FDCPA, HIPAA, and state-specific collection laws
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic guidance on case handling
  • Communicate effectively with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal teams
  • Review account documentation and evidence to support legal actions
  • Monitor deadlines and maintain accurate case records

Qualifications for positions include, but are not limited to:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Kansas
  • Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience
  • Prior experience in debt collection litigation required
  • Strong knowledge of civil procedure and courtroom practices
  • Familiarity with FDCPA and consumer protection laws

Preferred but not required

  • Experience handling high-volume collection caseloads
  • Trial experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with skip tracing, judgment enforcement, and post-judgment remedies
  • Experience with case management systems and legal software
  • Licensed or ability to be licensed in Oklahoma, Colorado, Nebraska, and Missouri
