Procon E&C - Hiring Accounting & ERP Intern (Construction Industry)

Procon Engineering & Construction is seeking an IT Systems & Cloud Operations Intern to support company-wide IT infrastructure, cloud systems, security, and user access management. This internship provides hands‑on experience in Microsoft 365 administration, email system migration, IT security controls, and enterprise software access management within a fast‑growing construction company.

You will work closely with the Finance & Operations / IT leadership team and gain practical exposure to real‑world IT operations, not software development.

This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in IT systems administration, cloud operations, and corporate IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with GoDaddy to Microsoft 365 email migration
  • Support Exchange Online configuration and mailbox management
  • Verify and test inbound and outbound email flow
    • SPF, DKIM, DMARC validation
    • Spam filtering and mail security checks
  • Assist in Microsoft 365 tenant administration
    • User accounts, licenses, groups, and permissions
  • Support IT security and access control
    • MFA verification
    • Admin account review
    • Role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Assist with server room and IT infrastructure security checks
    • Access control verification
    • Hardware and network documentation
  • Review and document employee access to company software
    • Microsoft 365
    • ERP systems
    • Other internal SaaS tools
  • Support onboarding and offboarding IT processes
  • Maintain IT documentation, access lists, and operational checklists

Qualifications:
