Job Description

The Field Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment in the field while delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves installing, inspecting, and servicing Atosa products within a designated territory, ensuring that equipment operates efficiently and reliably. The technician will also document and communicate issues, solutions, and complete repairs, serving as a key liaison between the company and its customers. Strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

  • Familiarize yourself with Atosa's products, monitor new offerings and equipment design changes.
  • Inspect, test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair damaged equipment.
  • Safely operate company service vehicle to travel to various customer locations as scheduled for service repairs.
  • Manage customer appointments, providing ETAs and updates to dispatch representatives.
  • Maintain inventory of all tools, equipment, and other such assets assigned by the company.
  • Effectively and professionally communicate through phone and email, fostering strong relationships with customers, colleagues, sales representatives, fellow technicians, and others as needed.
  • Ensure timely submission of all essential paperwork for completed service repairs, invoices, payments, and requested documentation via approved systems.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the hiring manager.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated, capable of both independent and collaborative work.
  • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and simplified technical communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret diagrams and specifications related to HVAC service and installation.
  • Proficiency in computers, operating systems, and applications.
  • Familiarity with necessary tools of trade, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, remain stationary for extended periods, and exhibit multi-limb coordination and manual dexterity.

Required Qualifications

  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Universal Certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
