This role will gain hands-on experience working across a wide range of genres, including Octane, Hip-Hop Nation, Hits 1, Radio Andy, Latin, BPM, YouTube, and SiriusXM Sports - while collaborating closely with our social media leads.This internship will play a key role in helping the team scale day-to-day execution, analyze performance, and support content creation that reaches millions of listeners and fans across SiriusXM's ecosystem.What you'll do:

  • Support day-to-day social media operations across SiriusXM brand, music, sports, and talk channels, including Octane, Hip-Hop Nation, Hits 1, Radio Andy, Latin, BPM, and YouTube
  • Assist with content creation and production, including drafting captions, resizing assets, organizing content libraries, and supporting short-form video and graphic needs
  • Help analyze social performance by pulling data, tracking trends, and assisting with weekly and campaign-level reporting to understand what's resonating with audiences
  • Monitor social platforms for emerging trends, viral moments, and real-time opportunities relevant to music, sports, and pop culture
  • Collaborate with social media leads across departments to support channel launches, tentpole moments, live events, and talent-driven campaigns
  • Assist with scheduling and publishing content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Help organize workflows, timelines, and approvals using internal tools (e.g., Monday.com)
  • Provide on-set or live-event support when needed, including content capture assistance and post-event organization of assets
  • Gain exposure to cross-functional teams including programming, video, marketing, PR, and partnerships
  • Support administrative tasks as needed, such as meeting notes, recaps, and asset tracking
  • This role is ideal for someone eager to learn how a large-scale media brand operates across multiple audiences, genres, and platforms.

What you'll need:

  • Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (MBA students graduating by September 2027 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship
  • Strong interest in social media, digital content, music, entertainment, sports, and pop culture
  • Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Facebook) and how brands use them
  • Comfort working with data and analytics; interest in understanding performance metrics and audience insights
  • Experience with MS Office or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides are especially important)
  • Basic experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, or similar editing platforms is a plus
  • Familiarity with automation and/or AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Willingness to take initiative, ask questions, and learn from feedback
  • Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as chatGPT, Gemini
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be $18/hr and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
