Specialty Human Services(SHS)is looking for ayear-roundMarketing and Risk Management Intern to join their team. The hours will be part-time during the school yearwith the opportunity to workfull-time during the summer.The internship is based in our downtown Cincinnati headquarters and is a hybrid schedule depending on availability.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the divisional sales & marketingteamto learn customer service skills and standards.

  • Prepare routine/non-complex correspondence, memoranda, reports, etc., ensuring professional level editing.

  • Maintain files, reports, and/or databases.

  • Become familiar with department policies and procedures, as well as the business and organization.

  • Assistwith delivering key risk management resources, such as:

  • Learning Management System

  • Property & Auto Telematics

  • Job shadowing and otherprojectsas assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hoursperweekandgo into the Cincinnati office on ahybridschedule

  • Currentlyenrolledin college or universitywitha 3.0minimumGPA,ideallymajoringinInsurance and RiskManagement, Marketing,Sales, orrelated fieldof study

  • Proven leadership skills through extracurricular activities, internships/co-ops, or work experience

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Products isrequired(Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Teams); knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.

  • Superior verbal/written communication and analytical skills and ability to multitask.
