Description
ProSource360 Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking Instructor/Course Developers to support the 711th Human Performance Wing (711 HPW), headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. 711 HPW is the first human-centric warfare wing to consolidate human performance research, education, and consultation under a single organization. This position supports the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM), specifically within the Public Health Education Division, by providing course development and instruction related to key public health programs and operational needs of the U.S. Air Force.
Responsibilities
The Instructor/Course Developer will serve as a subject matter expert in public health, supporting the development of lesson plans and instructional delivery using standardized Air Force Instructional System Development methodology. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Experience as a qualified DoD instructor or possess the ability to attain qualification (Basic Instructor Course and formal internship)
  • Associate's degree in education or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience and/or experience providing educational support for a formal education program or related area
  • Experience in Office 365 tools (MS Windows, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Publisher, MS Teams, MS Planner, MS Power BI, and Microsoft Forms)
  • Non-Disclosure Agreement required through the contractor's company

Requirements
  • Associate's degree in public health or higher education
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a public health-related field
  • Must obtain Basic Instructor Course (BIC) certification within 1 year if not already certified
  • Advanced skills using standard public health equipment and data systems
  • US Citizenship required

Highly Desired Skills
  • Experience in AF Medical Service leadership at the flight level or above and/or clinical experience
  • Qualified Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) instructor or previous CCAF instructor (experience with the ability to qualify as a returning instructor applies)
  • Master Instructor certification and/or 250+ teaching hours
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of applicable Air Force, military, and professional standards

Performance Standards
  • Receive an "acceptable" rating on all evaluated lessons per USAFSAM/ED protocols
  • Receive an "acceptable" annual instructor evaluation
  • Promptly implement corrective actions based on student feedback trends
  • Maintain documentation with no more than two minor formatting and one minor text error
