Job description

The City of Morristown will be accepting applications for the position of FIREFIGHTER with the Morristown Fire Department. Qualifications: Be at least 18 years of age effective as of the first day of the month for which the written examination was originally announced and posted; graduation from an accredited high school or successful completion of the GED Test; be a citizen of the U.S.; be in good physical health; possess a valid driver’s license; never have received a dishonorable or bad conduct discharge from any branch of the military. Application can be obtained from the Human Resources office at the Morristown City Center (2nd floor) or at the City of Morristown's website at www.mymorristown.com Applications should be mailed to: City of Morristown - Firefighter - PO Box 1499, Morristown, TN 37816. Testing is scheduled for December, 2024. Application deadline is 5:00 PM, November 27, 2024.
