Job Description

Position               : .NET Developer

Location              : Mossville, IL Onsite

Duration              : Long term contract

Position Summary

The client is seeking an experienced Analyst/Developer to support the development, enhancement, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise web applications and backend services. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, purchasing, IT, and data teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications that support long-term machine sustainment initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ASP.NET development, C#, Entity Framework, Azure services, and relational databases, along with experience supporting enterprise-grade applications in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ASP.NET web applications and .NET 8 Web APIs
  • Develop and support on-premise console applications and standalone data synchronization jobs
  • Build secure, scalable, and high-performance backend services
  • Develop and optimize applications using Azure SQL and MySQL
  • Work with Entity Framework and LINQ for data access and business logic implementation
  • Deploy and maintain applications in Azure Cloud and on-premise environments
  • Implement background processing solutions using Azure Functions and Azure Web Jobs
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects from testing and production environments
  • Ensure code quality, security, performance, and adherence to coding standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and application modernization efforts
  • Evaluate and validate code compatibility across platforms and operating systems

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required
  • 8–10 years of professional development experience required
  • Master’s degree accepted with 6+ years of experience
  • 2-year degrees will not be considered
  • Internship experience will not count toward required years of experience
