Job description

**Bodyman**

**Lafayette, LA | $17.50/hr Starting Pay | Full-Time**

We are seeking an experienced Bodyman with sheet metal and fiberglass experience to perform body repair, fabrication, and surface preparation work. Will be working on classic cars.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Apply body filler

  • Perform block sanding

  • Complete panel fitment and alignment

  • Perform welding and metal fabrication

  • Prepare surfaces for paint

  • Use proper automotive repair materials and procedures

  • Complete quality bodywork repairs with strong attention to detail

Requirements

  • Experience working with sheet metal and fiberglass

  • Welding and metal fabrication experience

  • Knowledge of body repair techniques, materials, and procedures

  • Must have own tools

  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday;8:00 AM – 5:00 PM,1-hour lunch break

Pay

  • Starting at $17.50/hr
