What We Do (Audio Visual Integration): 

As an AV Engineer, you will play a hands-on role supporting audio-visual integration projects at customer sites. This includes performing complex AV system installations, overseeing system buildouts, and ensuring that all components are installed, configured, and commissioned in accordance with engineering specifications. You will work with advanced AV technologies to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and project milestones 


  Clearance Requirement 

    • U.S. Citizenship required 
    • Active DoW Top Secret clearance required
    • Applicants must be able to pass a Background Check. 


  Primary Responsibilities: 

    • Experience developing, modifying, and troubleshooting Crestron, Extron, or AMX control system code
    • Design, read, and interpret drawings, cable riser diagrams, and architectural drawings for a vast array of projects
    • Terminate and test a variety of wire and connector types (audio, video, network, control, power) 
    • Supervise and assist with the physical installation of a wide variety of AV and supporting technologies in diverse environments 
    • Supervise and support equipment rack preparation and staging, including wire lacing and installation of power strips, grounding bars, jack-fields, etc
    • Mount equipment such as monitor mounts, ceiling speakers, and microphones. 
    • Install and configure video walls 
    • Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure systems meet design and performance requirements 
    • Maintain an organized, clean, and professional work environment 


  Education/Certifications: 

    • 5+ years of AV or electronics field installation experience
    • Experience leading or supporting installation teams preferred
    • Hands-on experience working with and manipulating Crestron, Extron, or AMX programming and control systems (preferred)
    • Excellent Verbal and Written English Skills
    • Good customer service skills, with the ability to work cooperatively and professionally in on-site government and military environments
    • Basic networking knowledge
    • AVIXA CTS certification (preferred)
    • Sec + certification (preferred)

Travel and Work Environment 

    • Remote-based role with ~40% travel within the DMV area
