  • Assist with document review and document production
  • Prepare case summaries, chronologies, and litigation binders
  • Assist with trial preparation, mediation preparation, and hearing materials
  • Coordinate with clients, experts, inspectors, contractors, medical providers, and opposing counsel as directed
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical case files
  • Update the firm's case management system with case activity and notes
  • Assist attorneys with additional litigation and legal support tasks as assigned

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school, a recent law school graduate, or awaiting California Bar results
  • Strong legal research and legal writing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Professional, dependable, and eager to learn
Preferred Qualifications
  • Interest in plaintiff-side litigation, habitability, landlord-tenant, or housing law
  • Previous experience in a law firm, legal clinic, externship, or internship
  • Familiarity with California civil litigation procedures
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

  • Experience with legal case management software is a plus

Benefits
  • Opportunity to work alongside experienced litigation attorneys
  • Hands-on litigation experience from case development through trial preparation
  • Mentorship and professional development opportunities
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Firm-sponsored events and team activities
  • Fully stocked kitchen with snacks, beverages, and coffee
  • 401(k) program
