Job description

Position Title: Adjunct Instructor(s), Mathematics
Closing Date: Open until filled
Job Type: Part-time
Internal Category: Adjunct Faculty
Position Purpose: Cumberland University seeks applications for adjunct instructors in mathematics. Duties will include teaching Basic Algebra and/or College Algebra on the main campus in Lebanon, TN, and/or at dual enrollment locations in Wilson County, along with data collection for assessment of these courses.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication, teaching, and presentation skills are required for the areas of mathematics to be taught. Must be able to use university systems for email communications and to electronically enter attendance, midterm grades, and final grades. Training will be provided.
Experience: Previous high school or university teaching preferred.
Education: Master's Degree required (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics), Must be eligible to hire
