Job description

Flossmoor School District 161 is seeking an educator for the 2026-27ย school year to join an exceptional staff at Parker Junior High as a Math teacher! Our current Mathย department at Parker Junior High School is comprised of nine teachers with wide ranging experiences.ย 
Qualifications for the position include a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree in Education with prior teaching experience in Mathย in Grades 6-8 within the last ten (10) years or have taken a coursework, seminars or workshops relevant to Mathย  Grades 6-8 education in the last two (2) years. For certification, aย valid Illinois Professional Educators License (PEL) with a Mathย endorsement for middle grades is required.
