Carney, Sandoe & Associates, an education recruitment firm, is currently seeking Math Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year at independent schools in the San Francisco area.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective math lessons for students at various levels (e.g., middle school, high school, or advanced courses).
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, including lectures, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and experiments.
  • Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments in alignment with the curriculum and educational standards.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to create and refine curriculum materials, ensuring they meet the needs of the schoolโ€™s educational goals.
  • Maintain an orderly and productive classroom environment, addressing student behavior and promoting respect for others.
  • Encourage and guide students in collaborative group work and individual tasks.
  • Provide timely feedback to students on their progress, offering support and guidance to help them improve.
