Alton River Dragons Baseball - Clubhouse Manager/Baseball Operations Intern
Who We Are:We are the Alton River Dragons Baseball team, a Prospect League summer collegiate wood- bat baseball league. We believe in providing a great workplace for our Staff and Interns, while providing a first class entertainment experience to our guests.
Clubhouse Manager/Baseball Operations Intern:The Alton River Dragons are seeking applicants that are interested in learning and working more on the baseball side of things, vs the business and marketing side. As there are great opportunities with Minor League, Major League, and College organizations, A Clubhouse Manager/Baseball Operations internship with the Alton River Dragons would prepare you for that role in the future.
We are seeking a candidate that is motivated and detail oriented to support our Coaches, Players, and overall Clubhouse operations. This internship offers a great opportunity to work closely with players, coaches, and front office staff members.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Daily clubhouse operations, making sure the Clubhouse is organized clean for all players and staff. Responsible for managing player laundering, ensuring uniforms and practice gear are clean and properly distributed.
  • Help Prepare and set up for practices and games, including lineups and equipment checks. Work with the front office and coaching staff to meet equipment needs and requests.
  • Assist with special events and team activities as needed.
  • Work with Noah Suarez, Field Manager, to coordinate and confirm Bus Travel as well as Rooming Lists for Overnight Hotel Stays.

Qualifications:
  • Strong Interest in Sports as well as working with Various Players and Coaches
  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong Communication skills and the ability to work with various different personalities
  • Ability to travel with the team (if needed)
