Job description

Digital Marketing & Publicist

Our small and established company is seeking a talented Web Marketing Professional to join our office in Sandy, Utah. This position will be involved in actively promoting our new cell phone application and our core businesses electronically.

Our cell phone application promotes free speech, liberty, and conservative values. This job opening is directed towards individuals with similar values. In this role, you will lead the digital marketing efforts for our new mobile application. You will be responsible for building brand awareness, driving user acquisition, and increasing app downloads and engagement among the general public. You will also be involved in promoting several business websites to business-to-business customers. 

Part time and full time are a possibility between the hours of 8 and 5. All work must be done at our business worksite. Remote work is not available for this position. A flexible schedule to accommodate family or other obligations is possible.

Required Qualifications
To qualify for this position, the individual should have a strong background in digital marketing.

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in digital marketing, preferably with direct experience promoting mobile apps or consumer-facing products.
  • Proven track record of managing successful user acquisition campaigns with measurable ROI.
  • Strong knowledge of social media advertising platforms (Meta, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) and Google Ads.
  • Experience with App Store Optimization (ASO) and mobile app marketing best practices.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Firebase, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create persuasive marketing copy.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

As a Mid-Level Online Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in driving the success of our new mobile application. Your primary focus will be on increasing brand visibility, user acquisition, and engagement through strategic digital marketing efforts. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop and Execute Marketing Campaigns: Design, launch, and manage multi-channel online marketing campaigns (social media, paid search, display advertising, video, and content marketing) aimed at promoting the app to the general public.
  • Manage Paid Advertising: Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms including Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google Ads, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant channels to drive app downloads and conversions.
  • App Store Optimization (ASO): Optimize the app’s listing in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including keyword research, title/description optimization, and visual asset improvements.
  • Content Creation & Management: Create compelling marketing copy, social media posts, ad creatives, short videos, and other promotional materials that resonate with a broad audience.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Firebase, and platform-specific dashboards. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve results.
  • Audience Growth & Engagement: Build and grow the app’s social media presence, manage community engagement, and develop strategies to increase user retention and organic growth.
  • Influencer & Partnership Management: Identify, negotiate, and collaborate with relevant influencers, content creators, bloggers, and media outlets to expand reach.
  • Market Research & Strategy: Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and consumer behavior to identify new opportunities and refine marketing strategies.
  • Email & Retention Marketing: Support email marketing campaigns, push notification strategies, and re-engagement initiatives to maintain user activity.
  • A/B Testing & Optimization: Continuously test different creatives, messaging, and targeting approaches to maximize ROI and campaign effectiveness.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage advertising budgets efficiently to achieve maximum results within allocated spend.

This role requires a proactive, data-driven marketer who can balance creative execution with analytical thinking to successfully promote our new mobile application to a wide audience.
