Job Description
Primary Functions of the Private Equity Analyst role include:
  • Support deal teams in sourcing, screening, and evaluating private equity investments across primary fund commitments and secondary opportunities
  • Strong quantitative skills required to perform track record analysis, detailed business valuation, and modelling, as well as more qualitative assessments
  • Support deal teams in the preparation of internal investment committee memos as well as the subsequent closing processes
  • Actively engage with advisors and other market participants to source and manage inbound deal flow
  • Active contribution to recurring market-related projects
  • Present and discuss new opportunities to both local and global team

Requirements
  • University degree (bachelor's degree or higher)
  • Relevant prior internship experience including: investment banking, secondary and/or direct investing, business consulting / advisory
  • Essential technical skills include solid background in finance, detail-orientation, and strong analytical, modeling, and quantitative skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Experience working in a similar team environment a plus
  • Good team player who can also function independently
  • Energetic, flexible, and capable of working under time constraints
  • Sharp analytical mind with the ability to communicate and present findings clearly and concisely
  • Ability to work with colleagues at other global offices of the firm, and to manage communications and schedules accordingly
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
