Job description

Amazon's Cross Channel and Category Marketing Team (XCM) is hiring a strategic marketer to lead global mass advertising campaigns for some of the fastest-growing businesses in Amazon's portfolio. This person will drive campaigns that build brand awareness and preference across global markets. XCM runs the largest and most performative mass marketing portfolio at Amazon.

This role owns the relationship between business stakeholders and XCM's creative, media, and planning teams - connecting the businesses' ambitions to XCM's campaign engine and translating priorities into campaign direction that drives measurable impact worldwide.
The Sr. Marketing Manager will partner with leaders across XCM - Insights, Media, Measurement, Social, Brand Planning, and Creative - to develop campaigns that break through and deliver results. This role requires navigating a multi-market operating structure and leading the transition of these growth businesses' mass advertising into XCM's centralized model

The ideal candidate is a strong writer who can craft clear, compelling documents and knows how to leverage AI tools to write and manage workflows more efficiently. They can evaluate creative work against strategic objectives, push back with rationale when something's off-strategy, and apply data responsibly to optimize performance over time.
Basic qualifications 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs Experience communicating results to senior leadership Experience with verbal and written communication for executive-level audiences Experience in agency or brand-side marketing roles overseeing complex campaigns, creative problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration Experience executing campaigns across traditional and emerging media channels including TV, OOH, cinema, digital display, online video, and paid social
Preferred qualifications Experience managing global or multi-market campaigns with localized execution Experience managing creative output across in-house teams and/or external agency partners Experience in B2B marketing or advertising to business decision-makers Experience leading campaign transitions or building new marketing capabilities within an organization Experience providing creative direction from concept through production Experience driving alignment with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies Experience defining measurement frameworks or KPIs for new-to-portfolio brands or businesses Strong writing skills with the ability to leverage AI tools to draft documents and manage workflows efficiently
Key job responsibilities
Own the development of insight-driven cross-channel campaign briefs for Amazon Business, in partnership with Brand Planning and cross-functional partners.
Lead end-to-end campaign development from brief through production to in-market performance, including defining success metrics, measurement frameworks, and learning agendas.
Own the strategic relationship between Amazon Business stakeholders and XCM's creative, media, and planning functions, ensuring business priorities translate into actionable campaign direction.
Lead a multi-market campaign structure across the US, UK, Germany, and Japan, adapting central creative strategy for local relevance while maintaining brand coherence.
Lead creative development and production - whether through internal creative teams, external agency partners, or a combination of both - ensuring output is on brief, on brand, and bar raising.
Partner with Amazon Business marketing leads to navigate the transition to XCM's centralized campaign management approach.
Engage with international marketing leaders to bring central campaign strategy and key creative assets to life across locales, working within each market's planning and budget cycles.
Drive accountability for campaign outcomes across all active markets, including on-time and on-budget delivery.
Develop and refine the B2B mass advertising playbook within XCM, including frameworks for evaluating market readiness and expansion.
